Location: Vladimir Region, Suzdal, 58-B Mikhailovskaya Street
The building is a two-storey structure with an attic and a basement.
The roof is pitched and clad with factory-painted galvanised steel standing seam sheets.
The walls are constructed of hollow ceramic bricks and clad with ceramic facing bricks.
The building comprises classrooms, a canteen with a dining area seating 200, a kitchen for preparing three meals a day, a changing room for pupils, a first-aid room, a library, the headteacher’s office, teaching classrooms, separate toilet facilities for boys and girls, a staff room, an assembly hall and attic rooms for the temporary accommodation of guests (clergy).
The basement contains a ventilation chamber and an electrical substation.
Two staircases at either end of the building are provided for evacuation, whilst the central staircase connects the basement to the ground floor.
The building’s façade is adorned with decorative elements, pilasters and an icon above the entrance.
The stained-glass windows in axes 5–6 are made of anodised aluminium.
All paths and open spaces on the building’s grounds are paved with cobblestones and feature benches, litter bins, flower beds and lighting.
The planned building for the Diocesan School and Boarding House named after Saint Arsenius of Suzdal is a modern and functional structure with attention to detail and architectural features, which helps it blend into the surrounding environment and create a comfortable educational space.
